NewsCassette Bring 'Beautiful California' Across The USWith Beautiful California remaining on the CMJ Top 200 chart since it's early March debut, Miami's electro-pop outfit Cassette hit the road May 3 in Baltimore, Maryland. The debut album is comprised of 35 short tracks, which Devin Smith a.k.a. Cassette released on Atomisk Records, a label co-founded by Smith and college buddy Patrick Hart. In May, Smith will hit the road with his live band aiming to receive the same treatment as in his hometown, where they regularly sell-out shows. ORCA, Serbia's largest animal protection society are lobbying to have the show moved to another venue, as loud noise and vibration are proven to be a major source of upset for animals. Plans are afoot to sedate horses that may panic during the concert, an intention that has enraged animal lovers in Serbia. Moving the horses to another location would also cause distress to the animals. If ORCA fails to convince organisers to move the concert to another venue, they plan to contact the band themselves.
